Having just read and reviewed A. G. Howard’s Splintered, a YA adaption of Carroll’s 1865 novel Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, I found the below compilation of 19th century animation by The Brothers Lynch to Carly Paradis’ song “The Hope Of A Favourable Outcome” to sum up the experience nicely. It’s somewhat disturbing yet mesmerisingly beautiful that you just can’t look away. You can check out the original article as well as be sucked into the rabbit hole that is Verge (I could get lost for hours checking out post after post) here.
